No, caro editor, no

berlusconi

Caro editor, è il tuo coeditor che ti scrive questo post-lettera aperta: per dirti che in parte, in gran parte non sono d’accordo con il tuo invito ad andare al cinema quando prima si preparano e poi si trasmettono faccia a faccia televisivi come quello di ieri sera tra Prodi e Berlusconi. Certe regole, comunque riprese da quelle sperimentate negli Stati Uniti e in altri paesi europei, possono sembrare cavillose, noiose ma sono inevitabili quando sono in campo personaggi come Berlusconi che sempre o quasi sempre traducono l’espressione inglese” fair play”in “dico e faccio solo quello che mi conviene”. E poichè, come ha notato Prodi, si tratta di casi in cui non si trasmette uno spettacolo di ballerine e neppure un reality show , il pubblico può accettare questi programmi con tutti i loro appesantimenti formali senza troppe sofferenze ben sapendo che si tratta non soltanto di dare gradimento a due persone ma di scegliere tra due alternative: 1) continuare a subire, per altri cinque anni, un governo che ha portato il paese al disastro economico, ha promesso a tutti maggiore benessere e ha dato invece a quasi tutti maggiore malessere,ha coinvolto l’Italia nella tragica avventura americana in Iraq,ha ridicolizzato la giustizia con le leggi ad personam, ha permesso al presidente del Consiglio di triplicare la sua ricchezza ; 2) oppure accettare il tentativo-che non promette certezze assolute ma dà almeno una forte speranza -di cambiare tutto questo con incisivi interventi che ridiano normalità e onestà alla gestione della cosa pubblica e quindi anche al Paese.
Il fatto che 16 milioni di tespettatori abbiano seguito il dibattito e che-secondo i sondaggi-Prodi abbia ottenuto la maggioranza dei consensi credo dimostri che il faccia a faccia è stato utile : e anche più interessante, forse, di una serata al cinema .

    Aspettavo questo post. Anzi me lo aspettavo prima. Sapevo ( sentivo) il tuo disaccordo. Eppure Mario, tu sai che io concordo con te. Io non sono contro il faccia a faccia, non sono contro le regole (ci mancherebbe),non sono contro la politica, figurati se non sono per scegliere di mandare a casa questo governicchio. Ciò detto torno al nocciolo. Troppa enfasi, troppa grancassa, troppe aspettative per una cosa che non sposterà una virgola( o quasi) dei nostri ( e di milioni di italiani aggiungo) personali convincimenti o intezioni di voto. Imitare l’America bipolare, in un sistema come il nostro fatto dai partiti ( con una sciagurata nuova legge elettorale che mi toglie anche il diritto di scegliere il mio rappresentante) rischia di creare ulteriore confusione in un elettorato stanco, afasico, stremato dalle grida becere dei contendenti. Quanti sono gli indecisi ? Il 15%? Ovvero 3 milioni e mezzo sui 27 del corpo elettorale? Tutta questo circo solo per loro ? Oppure siamo in presenza, ancora una volta, come dice Giorgio Bocca, di un grande spettacolo massmediatico che fagogita tutto: parole, idee, sentimenti. Sarò all’antica, carissimo Mario, ma sono ancora convinto che la politica vada fatta tra la gente per la gente. E non in tv per lo spettacolo. Ecco, in sintesi, il mio invito di ieri che non voleva in nessun modo riecheggiare un :”tutti al mare” di buona memoria.Con stima, fraterna amicizia e affetto.
